Hello everyone,
I hope you all had a lovely summer break. We were busy over the summer in Burriscarra NS getting ready for a fun and educational 24/25 school year.
We have five new appointments this school year. I (Ms Hastings) have been appointed permanently to Principal, Ms. Dolan has been appointed permanently to Deputy Principal, Ms. Prendergast now has a permanent appointment at our school, Ms. Naughton will be joining us as our part time language teacher and we have a new secretary, Ms. Corbett.
Ms. Prendergast will teach the Junior Room (Junior Infants to 2nd Class), Ms. Hastings will teach the Senior Room (3rd to 6th Class), Ms. Dolan will be our full time Special Education and language teacher and as mentioned, Ms. Naughton will also join us to provide even more language lessons.
We start back to school on Wed 28th August at 09:00. The school bus runs as normal. Junior and Senior Infants will finish at 13:40 and all other classes finish at 14:40 as usual.
All your child needs for school is their uniform, a school bag and their lunch. The uniform jumpers you ordered are available now in Elverys in Castlebar, Eircode: F23AX67.
